General Abstract Guidelines
The Scientific Committee of Global Conference on Updates in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (GCUOG 2026),
invites submissions of abstracts for Oral and E- Poster Presentations.
- Each author can present one abstract only (oral or poster presentation).
- Abstracts submitted should preferably be original research work.
- Abstracts previously presented or published will not be accepted.
- Abstracts submitted to other international/ national meetings must not be submitted.
- The final mode of presentation (Oral or E-poster) will be decided by the Scientific Committee.
- All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling.
Please submit symbols as words.
- All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the conference website prior to the
event.
Conference Registration is Mandatory for Presenter Only (Main Author)
- Abstracts must be submitted online through the official conference website. Faxed or emailed
abstracts will not be accepted.
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the
abstract before submission.
- Please note that the submitting author will receive all correspondence about the abstract, so we
advise that the submitting authorโs details that are entered are the same details as those of the
presenting author.
- Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission. You are welcome to bring an updated
abstract onsite with you via Pen drive only.
- Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation e-mail after clicking
the final submit button. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact the through

Oral Presentation General Specifications:
Before you begin, please ensure that you have the following information ready:
Presenting author's contact details (should be the same details as the submitting author so that the
presenting author receives the correspondence about the abstract)
- Email address
- Full postal address
- Mobile Number
Author and co-authors' details
- Full first and Last name(s)
- Affiliation details: Department, Institution/Hospital, City, State, Country
Abstract Title and Text
- Title: Limited to 20 words, typed in UPPER CASE, Times New Roman, font size 12
- Authors: Presenting authorโs name listed first, font size 11
- Abstract Text: Typed in Times New Roman, font size 10, single-spaced, maximum 250 words
Abstracts must be submitted with the following sections:
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- References are optional and will count toward the word limit.
- Tables โ A maximum of 3 tables of up to 10 rows x 10 columns can be included per abstract.
- Graphs and images โ It is important to note that each image included in the abstract is worth 30
words. A maximum of 3 images can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of each graph/image
is 500 KB. The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w)x 800(h) pixels. You may upload graphs
in JPG format only.
Abstract Submitters Declaration
During abstract submission, you will be asked to declare the following:
- I confirm that I previewed this abstract, and that all information is correct. I accept that the
content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission, and I am aware that
it will be published as submitted.
- Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g., Conference
website, programs, other promotions, etc.)
- The Abstract Submitter grants the Organisers a copyright license to reproduce, publish, translate,
distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable
nonexclusive basis.
- I herewith confirm that the contact details saved in this system are those of the presenting author,
who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The presenting author is responsible for
informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.
- I understand that the presenting author must be a registered participant.
- The organisers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation an abstract that
does not comply with the above.
- I understand that I must select a specific Theme, mentioned on the 33rd Annual Conference of the
Andhra Pradesh Neuro Scientists Association, GCUOG2026 website. Although the committee will work
hard to honour this selection, this cannot be guaranteed. The Committee reserves the right to change
the Theme, under which the abstract was originally submitted.
Conflict of Interest & Ethical Approval
The abstract submitter must attach an approval letter from HOD / Superintendent declaring that it was not
submitted previously in any conference and there is no conflict of interest in the presentation.
Abstract Selection and Presentation
The Committee will review all submitted abstracts. Notification regarding abstract acceptance and
scheduling will be sent to the submitting author. Please note, if your abstract is accepted for oral
presentation, the presenting author will be permitted to present in the program.
E-Poster General Specifications:
- The E-poster will be displayed on a standard 42" LCD.
- File format should be PowerPoint (.PPT/.PPTX) & 16:9
- Total size of the presentation should not exceed 5 MB.
- 1 slide per poster only.
- Slide should be in the provided template.
- Animation/movies/sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static required template format
only
Design Specifications:
- The E-poster needs to be created as per the given format.
- Presenter Name, Poster Title & e-poster Number should be placed in a title placeholder.
- Case study presentation must include Introduction, Aim & Objectives, Background, Case, Conclusion/
Clinical Relevance.
- Case report presentation must include Introduction, Aim & Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results,
Conclusion.
- The poster should be self-explanatory. The text should be brief and well organized.
- It is suggested that the font size of the text should be at least 14 points. The typeface chosen
should be a simple and clear one (e.g., Helvetica/Times New Roman)
Colour Specifications:
- For light backgrounds (white, yellow, light blue): use dark fonts (black, navy blue, dark green).
- For dark backgrounds (blue, purple): use light fonts (white, yellow, cyan).
- Avoid red or green text or backgrounds as they are difficult to read.
- Images and illustrations should be high-quality and large enough to show relevant details.
Note: The Committee reserves the right to select abstracts relevant to the scientific program and to
determine the final mode of presentation (Oral or E-Poster).
